We offer a wide range of mounting options for our vinyl signs to accommodate many different applications. Whether your sign is going to be up for only a few days or for several years of indoor or outdoor usage, we have a mounting solution that will work great for your particular needs. Below we've outlined some of the more common mounting materials and typical applications of those materials.

Gatorboard

Gatorboard is a multi-layer composite board with a core of dense and durable polystyrene that resists crushing and denting. The core is surrounded by layers of plastics, papers, and adhesives to create a moisture resistant layer that helps form a rigid board that won't bend or warp. It's exceptional rigidity, smooth surface quality, and light weight make it the mounting material of choice for virtually any rigid indoor display. Black is our standard color of Gatorbaord. White, natural, and other colors are available if needed.

Sintra

Sintra is a high-density, rigid PVC plastic material that is very versatile and durable. Because it is dent-resistant and will not fade, discolor, or become brittle, it is great choice for both indoor and outdoor applications. Sintra is commonly used for trade show exhibits, permanent commercial signs, and a number or outdoor applications. White is the standard color, with black and a limited number of other colors available on special order.

Aluminum

We typically mount to aluminum when the job calls for an extremely rigid surface and requires a high-tech or mechanical feel. Aluminum is most commonly used for construction signs, road signs, and other outdoor signs for businesses such as auto mechanics.

Foam Core

Foam Core is a light styrofoam-cored board between paper facers. Because it is very lightweight, yet durable, and has an extremely smooth surface, it is a great choice for any indoor signage. Foam Core is one of the easeir materials to cut cleanly, which makes it particularly well-suited for oddly shaped signage that has needs intricate cuts.

Polystyrene

Polystyrene is a very tough and rigid material that resists dents and cracking. It is well-suited for both indoor and outdoor usage. Unlike most of the other materials, vinyl prints mounted to polystyrene can often be rolled. This property makes it a great choice when portability is important because shipping and handling is much easier. White is our standard color, with red, green, yellow, blue, and gray available through special order.

Coroplast

Coroplast is a corrugated plastic mounting board that is lightweight, rigid, and weather able. There are 4 mil downward flutes that provide rigidity for wind resistance and accept sign stakes nicely.
